Welcome back everyone, or if you’re joining us for the first time — welcome! We’re so excited to get back to playing pinball in the summer — and this marks one year of us doing NPC. Thanks so much for joining us on this journey!
There’s so much to talk about, but most importantly: Leagues start the week of July 12th — check the locations page to find out where to play. We were able to make it to 13 sites this season as we continue to grow strategically — we need to make sure we don’t overwhelm our finals location, or our volunteers. We’re looking at rule and location changes to hopefully allow more participants in the future. And let’s talk about Grand Finals — that will be September 26th at GameCraft Arcade in Southington, CT!

What’s new for Season Three? Glad you asked!
- We’re keeping more money at locations. After 2 seasons we have a pretty good idea of the number of folks playing pinball with us and what our league costs are — so locations will now keep more of the entry fee to pay their A and B finals with. So even if you can’t make Grand Finals, there’s plenty to play for in Season Three.
- We’ve instituted a league-wide Code of Conduct, implemented a code of conduct board, and outlined what our actions are should a player or location be found lacking. We’ve been so fortunate to have wonderful players and locations in our first two seasons, but we want to be clear: We’re a pinball league for everyone, and we’re going to keep it that way.
- For Grand Finals, we heard feedback that the semifinal round didn’t give teams enough agency on the players on games. So, going forward: High seeded teams will pick the games in use for the semis, but each team will independently select what player will play each game.
Otherwise, it’s the same NPC you know and love. Local prizes, location-contained leagues, and team and individual grand finals. And yes — you can play in multiple leagues, should you want to!
